This week’s message reminds us why God gives spiritual gifts.

The Holy Spirit empowers believers not for self-promotion but for building up the body of Christ and fulfilling the Great Commission. When every member uses their gift, the church grows in love, unity, and mission impact.

• Purpose of Gifts: To build the church and equip believers for ministry.

• Power of the Spirit: The same Spirit who gives gifts also sends us on mission—to make disciples, share the Gospel, and expand God’s kingdom.

• Unity in Diversity: Different gifts, one mission. Every believer’s contribution matters.

• Vision Connection: Each gift supports Vision 2030—to be a Spirit-filled, Christ-centered, mission-minded church that transforms our community through hope, growth, and grace.

• Pillars of GHBC Vision 2030:
  • Evangelism – Reaching the lost
  • Worship – Encountering God’s presence
  • Discipleship – Growing believers in truth
  • Charity – Meeting needs with compassion
  • Stewardship – Using every resource for God’s glory

Application:
Pray for the Spirit to reveal how your gift builds the church. Participate by joining a ministry team that fits your gift. Partner together so every gift fuels God’s mission through Good Hope Baptist Church.
