DAY 1 — GOD WARNED HIS PEOPLE
Read Together: Exodus 11:4–7
Key Truth for Kids: God warns people before judgment comes.
Talk About:
  • Why was God bringing judgment on Egypt?
  • What did God say would happen that night?
  • What did God promise about His people, Israel?
  • Why is it important that God warns people first?

Activity:
  • Turn off the lights in the room.
Explain:
Before the Passover night, God warned everyone what would happen. God always tells people the truth before He acts.
  • Turn the lights back on and say:
  • God warned Egypt, but He also gave His people a way to be safe.

Family Prayer:
God, thank You that You tell us the truth and warn us so we can follow You.
Memory Verse:
Amos 3:7 (simplified) - The Lord tells His servants what He is going to do.

DAY 2 — THE PERFECT LAMB
Read Together: Exodus 12:3–6
Key Truth for Kids: God required a perfect lamb.
Talk About:
  • What kind of lamb did God require?
  • Why do you think God wanted a perfect lamb?
  • Why did every family need their own lamb?

Activity:
  • Draw two lambs together.
  • One lamb with spots or marks.
  • One lamb clean and perfect.
Explain:
God required a perfect lamb because it pointed to Jesus, who was perfect.

Family Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for being the perfect Lamb who never sinned.
Memory Verse:
1 Peter 1:19 (simplified) - Christ was the perfect lamb without sin.

DAY 3 — THE BLOOD ON THE DOOR
Read Together: Exodus 12:7–13
Key Truth for Kids: The blood showed which houses trusted God.
Talk About:
  • Where did the people put the lamb’s blood?
  • What did God say He would do when He saw the blood?
  • Why do you think God used blood as the sign?

Activity:
  • Draw a simple house.
  • Have children draw red lines on the top and sides of the door.
Explain:
The blood showed that the family trusted what God said.

Family Prayer:
Lord, thank You for giving Your people a way to be protected.
Memory Verse:
Exodus 12:13 (simplified) - When I see the blood, I will pass over you.

DAY 4 — GOD PROTECTED HIS PEOPLE
Read Together: Exodus 12:29–32
Key Truth for Kids: God protected the homes marked by the blood.
Talk About:
  • What happened in Egypt that night?
  • Which houses were safe?
  • Why were those houses safe?
  • What does this teach us about trusting God’s instructions?

Activity:
  • Build a small house out of blocks or pillows.
Explain:
Every house with the blood was safe. God kept His promise.

Family Prayer:
God, thank You that You always keep Your promises.
Memory Verse:
Psalm 18:30 (simplified) - God’s way is perfect.

DAY 5 — JESUS IS THE PASSOVER LAMB
Read Together: John 1:29
Key Truth for Kids: Jesus is the Lamb who takes away sin.
Talk About:
  • What did John the Baptist call Jesus?
  • Why does the Bible call Jesus the Lamb of God?
  • How is Jesus like the Passover lamb?

The Passover lamb helped people understand what Jesus would do.
