WEEK 6 — Firstfruits - Jesus is Alive!

The BIG Idea (repeat every day) Jesus is alive, and because He lives, we will live too.

Day 1 — God Gives Life
Scripture: Genesis 2:7

Parent Says: God made people in a special way.
He didn’t just form them, He gave them life.
We live because God gives us life.
Ask:

• Who gives us life?
• Why do we need God every day?

Truth: God is the giver of life.
 
Prayer: God, thank You for giving us life.

Day 2 — Sin Brings Death
Scripture: Genesis 2:17

Parent Says:
God warned Adam that sin would bring death.
Death means being separated from God.
Ask:

• What happens when we disobey God?
• Why is being close to God important?

Truth: Sin leads to death, but God has a plan.

Prayer: God, help us choose what is right.

Day 3 — God Rescued His People
Scripture: Exodus 13:14

Parent Says:
God rescued His people from Egypt.
He told them to remember what He had done.
Ask:

• What did God save His people from?
• Why should we remember what God does?

Truth: God saves His people.

Prayer: God, thank You for rescuing us.

Day 4 — Firstfruits Means More Is Coming
Scripture: Leviticus 23:10

Parent Says:
God told His people to bring the first part of their harvest to Him.
This showed they trusted God to give them the rest.
Ask:

• Why did they give the first part?
• How can we trust God?

Truth: God always keeps His promises.

Prayer: God, help us trust You.

Day 5 — God Promised Life After Death
Scripture: Psalm 16:10

Parent Says:
God promised that death would not win.
He promised life would come again.
Ask:

• Is death the end?
• What does God promise instead?

Truth: God promises life.

Prayer: God, thank You that death is not the end.

Day 6 — Jesus Is Alive
Scripture: Luke 24:1–3

Parent Says:
When people went to Jesus’ tomb, He was not there.
Jesus had risen from the dead!
Ask:

• What did they find at the tomb?
• Why is it important that Jesus is alive?

Truth: Jesus is alive!

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for rising from the dead.
 
DAY 7 — We Will Live Too
Scripture: John 14:19

Parent Says:
Jesus said that because He lives, we will live too.
That means we don’t have to be afraid of death.
Ask:

• Why don’t we have to be afraid?
• What does it mean to have life with Jesus?

Truth: Because Jesus lives, we will live too.

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for giving us life forever.
