Sermon Notes 13 July 2025

Summary: This sermon traces the redemptive arc of Judah, one of the most flawed yet foundational figures in the lineage of Jesus, and shows how his transformation mirrors the greater redemption offered through Jesus Christ, the Lion of Judah.

It begins with a reminder that God’s redemption story started not in Bethlehem, but in the Garden of Eden, when humanity first chose rebellion. From that moment, God began a plan to restore what was lost—using broken people to bring forth His perfect Son.
